As a Product Owner Data & AI (m/f/d), you combine product responsibility with expertise in Machine Learning, Data Science, and Generative AI. Together with our business departments, you will identify and prioritize value-adding use cases and develop innovative solutions with measurable business impact. You will accompany the entire lifecycle of modern data and AI products and act as a central interface between business, analytics, and technology.

Your Tasks

• You are responsible for the roadmap of our data, analytics, and AI products and prioritize initiatives based on business value and strategic relevance
• Together with business departments, you identify data-driven potentials and translate business requirements into concrete AI and Machine Learning solutions
• You analyze complex datasets, develop forecast models, and derive actionable recommendations from them
• You conceptualize, develop, and evaluate Machine Learning models as well as modern AI solutions based on LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows
• You accompany the entire product lifecycle from problem definition, through development and validation, to productive use
• You are responsible for the operation, monitoring, and continuous optimization of productive AI systems in modern cloud environments
• You work closely with product, engineering, analytics, and other stakeholders, and communicate progress, risks, and results transparently

Your Profile

• Several years of professional experience in Machine Learning, Data Science, AI Engineering, or Advanced Analytics
• Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a comparable role with responsibility for products, projects, or complex initiatives
• Very good knowledge of Python, SQL, and modern data science and Machine Learning frameworks
• Sound experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS, as well as the productive operation of AI and ML solutions
• Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD, monitoring, and the continuous further development of productive systems
• Analytical strength, strong communication skills, and the ability to connect technical and business requirements
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
