Product Manager / Product Owner (m/f/d) – Commercial Focus

You think commercially, understand technical contexts, and can translate customer requirements into solutions that developers can build?

Then we are looking for you.

Our development team is technically very strong. Your task is not to develop yourself, nor to take on a classic Scrum PO role. You set the functional and commercial framework: You understand what customers need, prioritize requirements, define the desired outcome, and then personally verify if the implementation works.

We are explicitly looking for a highly effective personality: someone who drives topics forward, prepares decisions, clarifies open points, and takes responsibility until a successful outcome. Pure ticket ping-pong is not our understanding of product ownership.

Tasks

• Gather, question, and prioritize customer feedback and requirements
• Develop your own product ideas and suggestions for improvement
• Formulate requirements clearly and understandably for our development team
• Clarify functional questions during implementation
• Test new features yourself and release them from a product perspective
• Research, evaluate, and approach suitable software and technology partners
• Accompany integrations with external partners
• Specifically identify new payment providers and coordinate their integration

A new feature can be a software function, a modification to our devices, or the integration of an external partner.

Qualification

• Commercial thinking and a good understanding of customer needs
• Initial relevant experience in Product Management, Account Management, Customer Success, Project Management, or Business Development
• Good technical understanding – you don't need to be able to program, but you should be able to comfortably discuss requirements and functions with developers
• A structured and independent way of working
• Clear communication with customers, partners, and developers
• A strong hands-on mentality: You don't wait for things to progress on their own
• Enjoy taking responsibility and driving things to completion
• Fluent German and English language skills

You need German for close collaboration with our customers, and English for daily coordination with our international development team.

Experience with payments or software integrations is a plus, but not a prerequisite.

The role is designed to be on-site in the office, as direct interaction with our development team is a central part of the job.

You can discuss requirements in person, clarify questions quickly, and test new features directly together on the product.

Instead of just forwarding requirements via tickets, you work closely with the people who implement them.

You provide the input, our development team builds the solution – and you ensure through testing that the right thing is delivered in the end.
