Job description

Position: Product Manager – Policy & Risk (Co-Lending) Location: Mumbai – Lower Parel Budget: Up to 25 LPA Experience: 10 years (exceptional candidates with lesser experience may be considered) Role Summary: Own the credit policy, risk management, and underwriting framework for the Co-Lending business. This role requires strong expertise in secured/unsecured lending, credit risk assessment, and decision-making authority in credit underwriting. Key Responsibilities: Formulate, review, and implement credit policies and procedures for the Co-Lending business. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including risk teams, credit teams, and business partners. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business opportunities and risks. Analyze and interpret data to inform credit decisions and optimize portfolio performance. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Co-Lending business, including market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory requirements. Provide thought leadership and strategic guidance to the Co-Lending business, including identifying and mitigating risks. Key Requirements: Strong understanding of credit risk assessment and management. Experience in secured/unsecured lending, credit underwriting, and risk management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, business, economics). Certifications: CFA, CAIA, FRM, or other relevant certifications. Skills: Credit risk assessment, credit underwriting, risk management, secured/unsecured lending, financial modeling, data analysis, portfolio management, market research, competitor analysis, regulatory compliance, strategic planning, leadership, communication, problem-solving, analytical skills.
