Product Manager Platform (m/f/d)

Your Tasks
As a Product Manager Platform (m/f/d), you will shape the heart of our IoT and cloud platform KiwiOS. You will combine strategic market requirements with technical excellence, manage the platform ecosystem throughout its entire lifecycle, and actively drive the international scaling of our Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) model for the decentralized energy market.
Your Tasks:- Strategic Vision & Roadmap: Creation and further development of the product vision, roadmap, and value proposition for our platform and associated services (e.g., KiwiOS.cloud, Energy Manager).
- Business Cases & Pricing: Development of business cases, pricing models, and pricing strategies in the PaaS context, including stakeholder coordination.
- Partner Acquisition & Ecosystem: Identification, evaluation, and acquisition of strategic platform partners to expand our ecosystem.
- Market & Competition Analysis: Continuous market and competitor analysis with a focus on the international energy market.
- Product Controlling & Performance: Independent controlling, monitoring of platform performance, and derivation of targeted measures.
- Requirements & Specifications: Translation of strategic business use cases and customer requirements into functional/technical specifications and epics.
- Collaboration with Product Owners: Close coordination on feature specifications and support in clear backlog prioritization.
- Product Documentation & Interfaces: Collaboration with technical documentation to optimally document the platform and APIs.
- Product Lifecycle & Go-to-Market: Holistic lifecycle management (SoC to EoL) as well as expert support for sales, marketing, and internal product training.
Your Profile
- Successfully completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Economics, Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of sound professional experience in product management, product development, or business area development in the IT, PaaS, or IoT environment. Experience in renewable energies / Smart Energy is a strong plus.
- Good understanding of cloud architectures, edge technologies, and API-first concepts. Sound knowledge in pricing, monetization, and business administration of SaaS/PaaS business models.
- Knowledge of the business, technical, and legal-regulatory issues of the energy market is desirable.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, distinct clarification and communication competence at the interface between tech and business, structured project execution, and hands-on mentality.
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
- Hybrid working with regular office presence.
