Your Responsibilities

Our goal is to provide the right charging infrastructure at the right time in the right place. As a leading provider of public charging infrastructure in Great Britain, ubitricity works with municipalities to install and operate charging solutions for electric vehicles in public spaces.
To further accelerate the expansion of charging infrastructure, we operate lamppost charging points, AC fast charging points, and DC fast charging stations in Germany, Great Britain, France, and the Netherlands. As a Product Manager in the Ecosystem Team, you will actively shape the future of electromobility and ensure that charging electric vehicles is simple, reliable, and accessible for our customers.

Your Mission
You will put the needs of electric vehicle drivers at the center of all product decisions. You will be responsible for the further development of our ecosystem services and integrations, ensuring that the charging experience from plugging in the charging cable to successful payment runs smoothly.
In doing so, you will connect internal teams, markets, and external partners into a high-performing ecosystem that promotes customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and sustainable growth equally.

Your Tasks

• You will further develop central components, services, and integrations of our Charging Ecosystem and ensure that they create measurable added value for drivers and the company.
• You will be responsible for the budget for development and design initiatives in your product area.
• You will manage API and system integrations with internal teams as well as external partners and suppliers, ensuring a seamless customer journey.
• You will work closely with the Software, Hardware, Operations, and Commercial departments to create a first-class charging experience.
• You will proactively identify customer needs, operational challenges, and market opportunities, deriving new product improvements and initiatives from them.
• You will prioritize requirements based on customer benefit, business value, and strategic relevance in an environment with numerous stakeholders.
• You will translate customer, business, and technical requirements into clear user stories and actionable product requirements.
• You will support iterative product developments and pilot projects, empowering local markets through suitable tools, documentation, and processes.
• You will work closely with engineers to concretize requirements, make decisions, and find pragmatic solutions.
• You will be responsible for the quality of your product area and continuously optimize the way products are developed, delivered, and operated.
• You will moderate Scrum processes in the development team and coordinate work packages with internal stakeholders.
• You will develop and validate new UI/UX concepts directly in our applications with the support of modern AI tools such as GitHub Copilot before they are technically implemented.

Your Profile

• At least 3 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager or in a comparable role, ideally in the field of electromobility, energy, IoT, or hardware-software ecosystems.
• Technical understanding beyond classic reporting and spreadsheet tools. You work confidently with APIs, dashboards, and low-code or no-code platforms without having to write productive code yourself.
• Confident use of AI-powered tools such as GitHub Copilot in everyday work.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to bring together technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong customer focus and pronounced commercial understanding with the ability to make product decisions from a user perspective and from an economic point of view.
• Analytical and data-driven work approach combined with a high standard for quality and UX.
• Proven experience in identifying opportunities, developing solutions, and independently driving projects from idea to implementation.
• Enjoyment of complex service and platform environments with many internal and external stakeholders.
• Pragmatic, collaborative, and adaptable personality.
• English skills at C1 level; German skills are an advantage.
