Product Manager (m/f/d) | Agri-PV

As a Product Manager (m/f/d) | Agri-PV, you will take on technical business ownership for our Agri-PV portfolio. You will drive system solutions that intelligently combine agriculture and photovoltaics, and accompany our products throughout their entire product lifecycle – from the initial idea to their replacement.

In doing so, you will work closely with internal departments as well as other internal and external stakeholders. You will understand the requirements of the market as well as the needs of our customers and translate them into economically and technically convincing product solutions for the national and international Agri-PV market.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of market trends, customer needs, technological developments, and regulatory frameworks to identify market potentials, customer requirements, and areas for action in the field of Agrivoltaics.
• Derivation and initiation of suitable measures for the further development of the Agri-PV product portfolio as well as identification of product improvements and market potentials in close cooperation with the relevant departments
• Driving the technical further development of the Agri-PV product portfolio throughout the entire product lifecycle – from conception to product replacement
• Analysis and translation of technical, agricultural, and project-specific customer requirements into concrete product requirements for the further development of the product portfolio
• Evaluation of product costs as well as manufacturability and deliverability in collaboration with Engineering and Supply Chain
• Close cooperation with internal departments for the development of economically viable and market-oriented product solutions
• Management of product-specific requirements from large projects as well as coordination of customer-specific solution approaches in close cooperation with the relevant departments
• Development and maintenance of product positioning, value propositions, and unique selling propositions for the Agri-PV market
• Support of Sales in the technical evaluation of customer requirements as well as development of suitable solution concepts for different application areas
• Provision of technical product information, market knowledge, and solution approaches for the successful market launch and marketing of new and existing Agri-PV products

Qualifications

• Successfully completed studies in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field of study
• Several years of professional experience in technical product management, technical project management, or business development, as well as a good understanding of regulatory and technical requirements in the field of Agrivoltaics
• Experience in the field of Agrivoltaics, renewable energies, agricultural technology, or comparable technical industries is an advantage
• Experience with complex technical products and in project business
• Distinct technical understanding combined with a good understanding of market and customer requirements
• Experience in market, competitor, and customer analyses as well as in product positioning and sales support
• Entrepreneurial thinking, strong communication skills, as well as a structured and analytical working method
• Proficient in using PLM, ERP, and MS Office applications.
• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
