Product Manager – BESS & PCS (m/f/d)

Your Role

As Product Manager BESS & PCS (m/w/d), you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the product family of outdoor energy storage systems from STABL, as well as our proprietary power electronics. Your mission is to design competitive, high-quality products that solve real customer needs and support the growth of STABL. You will translate insights from market, customers, and stakeholders into a clear product direction and work cross-functionally to continuously develop the portfolio. As part of the Business Innovation Teams, you will ensure that market feedback is clearly incorporated into our organization and subsequently implemented.

Your Mission

You will not only manage a roadmap – you will actively shape the next generation of energy storage systems in a highly dynamic environment. This position is ideal for someone who thinks big, enjoys connecting hardware and software, and wants to develop products that excite customers – for a scalable and continuously developing product in one of the fastest-growing sectors of the energy transition.

• You will gather customer and market requirements and translate these into clear product requirements and priorities.
• You will ensure technical excellence, commercial competitiveness, and overall quality of solutions.
• You will act as a central interface between customers, the market, and internal and external stakeholders.
• You will conduct competitive analyses and market research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. You will work on systems used at industrial sites and ensure the right balance between performance, costs, and security in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment.
• You will prepare strategic decision-making grounds and present these. Additionally, you will steer products and related initiatives throughout the product lifecycle – from conception and validation to market introduction and continuous development.

Your Profile

• More than 5 years of experience in product management or product ownership, ideally in the Cleantech-, EPC-, industry-, electronics sector or a comparable B2B environment, as well as more than 3 years of experience in the energy storage sector, ideally with BESS.
• A strong ability to translate customer, market, and business requirements into clear product requirements, priorities, and roadmap decisions.
• Demonstrable experience in managing product roadmaps and cross-functional coordination with different stakeholders and departments.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, as well as experience in the areas of market research, competitive analysis, and product positioning.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to work trustfully with customers, partners, and internal teams. Fluent German and English language skills.
• A structured, proactive, and self-responsible working style; experience with B2B customers from the energy or infrastructure sector is an advantage.
