Job description

Your Opportunity at Arc'teryx

As we continue to grow across Europe, we are looking for curious people who learn by doing and who wish to build a sustainable career path in retail. At Arc'teryx, we believe there is always a better way to do things: this conviction guides the development of our teams, and our “Leave It Better” spirit shapes how we work.

Our Sales Advisors grow through on-the-job learning, regular coaching, and opportunities within different stores, regions, and teams.

We are looking for a Sales Advisor to join our team in our Paris store. You are the face of our brand: you bring energy, expertise, and unforgettable experiences to every customer. The outdoors deeply animates you, you love our products, and you authentically share this passion. You grow with us, help others grow, and contribute to building a community that thrives through connection to nature and bold ideas.

As a Sales Advisor at Arc'teryx, here’s what you’ll do:
  • Create Memorable Customer Experiences: You bring energy and expertise to every interaction: sharing product knowledge, solving problems, and helping customers find the gear that matches their needs and passions.
  • Embody the Brand, In-Store and Beyond: A true Arc'teryx ambassador, you represent our values both in-store and within the community. You stay curious, continue to learn, and inspire others to connect with nature.
  • Grow and Collaborate: You develop your skills with the support of your team, contribute to brand initiatives, and improve the in-store experience through your feedback and collaboration.
  • Ensure Smooth Store Operations: From processing transactions and managing customer expectations to unpacking stock and supporting daily tasks: you ensure everything runs like clockwork.
  • Life in our Stores

You will be part of a team that enjoys spending time outdoors together, sharing product knowledge, building strong relationships with our customers, and paying close attention to detail. The work is hands-on, thoughtful, and deeply rooted in connection to nature and community.

Are you our next Sales Advisor?
  • Customer Experience Culture: A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and building brand loyalty through service, storytelling, and community engagement.
  • Own Your Impact: You take responsibility, stay autonomous and motivated, and enjoy solving problems. You seek smart solutions, even when they aren’t the easiest.
  • Challenge the Status Quo: You question the status quo, inspire new ideas, and embrace continuous improvement — for yourself and those around you.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in French and English is essential.
  • Flexibility: Availability during peak retail periods (e.g., Black Friday, holiday season...) and the ability to lift up to 15kgs if necessary.
  • Hours:

    • Full-time – 30 to 40 hours per week (5 days per week)

    Compensation: Fixed salary + Bonus

    Growth at Arc'teryx:

At Arc'teryx, progression is built through practice, feedback, and the support of a wider community. As we open new stores in the region, new opportunities emerge for employees who wish to develop their skills and take on more responsibility.

What We Value in Our Teams:
Our stores bring together employees from diverse cultures, languages, and backgrounds. This diversity enriches how we learn from each other and provides an exceptional experience for our customers.

    Our Approach to Recruitment:
We prioritize a simple, human, and thoughtful recruitment process. Every application is carefully reviewed, and we will contact you if your profile matches what we are looking for.

    Benefits & Perks:

    • LIVE IT: Time and space to reconnect with nature and live a meaningful life
    • Planning Support: Predictable schedules that foster team balance
    • Arc' Adventure: A recognition program offering outdoor experiences across Europe
    • Growth & Learning: Access to leadership training, skill development workshops, and career development programs
    • Wellness Resources: Support systems to promote physical, mental, and financial well-being
    • Gear Access: Favorable employee purchase program + industry pro deals
    • Care & Repair: Access to care advice and repair services in line with our ReBIRD commitment

*Benefits may vary by position and location.
