The Role:
E-invoicing will be mandatory – and we want to be the address that customers, law firms, and partners think of first. With InvoiceRails, we operate a certified Peppol Access Point; with GetMyInvoices, a platform for over 14,000 customers; and with Belegbote, a free e-invoicing mailbox. As a Product Expert E-Invoicing, you will be the voice of fino data services on e-invoicing: you will represent the topic in the market and ensure that our products and services are always one step ahead of legal requirements.

Tasks

Externally

• You will conduct webinars for customers, tax firms, and partners.

• You will speak at conferences and industry events such as the E-Invoicing Summit.

• You will represent us in working groups, e.g., in the Association for Electronic Invoicing (VeR) and at OpenPeppol.

• You will provide expert content that our marketing uses to go to market.

• You will ensure that customers, tax firms, and partners perceive us as the go-to address for e-invoicing – and that this generates inquiries.

Products and Services

• You will keep InvoiceRails, GetMyInvoices, Belegbote, and services like Billing Manager legally up-to-date.

• You will keep the requirements for 2027 and 2028 in mind and ensure that no deadline is missed in a product or service.

• You will translate regulations into clear requirements that our development teams can implement.

• You will drive the use of e-invoicing in our products – so that e-invoicing generates revenue for us.

Rulebook for Invoice Sources

• You will build the rulebook that assigns each invoice source its path – based on the principle of "Peppol first": If a supplier delivers via Peppol, the invoice will only come through that channel.

• You will bring the rulebook into productive use in GetMyInvoices.

• After that, our data team will take over maintenance; you will ensure quality.

Your priorities are clear: legal deadlines first, then external impact, then the rulebook.

What we measure as success: more invoices via Peppol instead of portals, no missed legal deadlines, a productively used rulebook, and visibility that generates inquiries. We will define the specific target values together in your first 90 days – a portion of your compensation is linked to this.

Qualification

• Depth: You have personally managed e-invoicing, Peppol, and the European standard EN 16931 for several years and know the legal requirements in detail.

• Stage: Presentations and webinars are your domain – in German and English. You enjoy speaking in front of audiences and are willing to travel to conferences and working groups.

• Translation: You turn regulations into requirements that a development team can implement, and you navigate confidently between expert committees, law firms, and developers.

• Self-reliance: You set your own priorities, drive topics independently, and see them through to completion.

• Languages: German (fluent in negotiation), English (fluent).
