Product Engineer

In the role of Product Engineer, you will be part of an enthusiastic team of Engineers who together map out and keep track of the project.

What will you do?

In the role of Product Engineer, you will be technically co-responsible for the mechanical Engineering of engine room installations and piping systems for yachts, commercial cargo ships, offshore vessels, sand dredgers, and ferries. Under the guidance of the Lead Engineer, the Product Engineer will be involved in the coordination, integration, and elaboration of designs from basic to detail engineering.

What you will do:

• • Process foundations/pipes into spools & drawings.
  • Have cable trays/penetrations processed into drawings.
  • Manage & coordinate the above activities.
  • Check the above activities.
  • Check hours and input in F2P (software).
  • Create a schedule.
  • Send drawings to the client & process client comments.

What do you bring?

An MBO or HBO education in Mechanical Engineering (starter) or some work experience in the Yacht or Shipbuilding industry. Cadmatic & Autocad knowledge is a pré and a passion for the maritime sector. You are critical & accurate in your work, complemented by technical expertise. A good dose of responsibility, energy, and creativity, but also a pragmatic person.
