Product Engineer - CESS (m/w/d)

Tasks

• Technical Point of Contact: You are the first point of contact for complex technical questions and lead from there well-founded decisions. Your expertise includes both hardware and software.
• Requirements Engineering: Translate market and customer requirements into technical specifications.
• Ensuring defined specifications and quality standards in development
• Product Maintenance & Further Development: Evaluation of change requests, introduction of ECAs/ECRs, definition of test requirements.
• Interface Function: Collaboration with hardware-, firmware-, and QA-teams as well as with sales, procurement, and suppliers.
• Error Analysis and Definition of Improvement Measures for Technical Faults in Operation
• Co-Drafting of Instructions for Commissioning and Maintenance
• Design and Implementation of Training Sessions
• Representative at Conferences, Standardization Committees, and Associations

Qualification

• A high level of self-motivation and enthusiasm to establish yourself as a leading technical expert in the field of large-scale energy storage solutions.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Mechatronics or comparable.
• Solution-oriented, result-open working approach
• Analytical understanding to be able to solve new problems
• Knowledge about battery storage, energy management systems, inverters or power grids is advantageous.
• Communication strength and ability to work successfully with different stakeholders regarding department, seniority, and cultural background
• Very good German and English skills in writing and speaking.
