Job description
Product Director
As a Product Director, you will support our clients in the design, development, and management of digital products.
Depending on the context, you will act as a product leader, capable of managing multiple squads and aligning senior stakeholders around a common vision and roadmap, or in a hands-on manner, directly taking charge of key Product Management activities when the situation requires it.
You master the entire PDLC: from understanding business and user needs to delivery and product performance measurement. You also know how to challenge existing practices and help our clients strengthen their product maturity.
Your missions will include:
- Understand business and user needs and structure the discovery, by mobilizing relevant stakeholders and transforming their needs and insights into clearly defined product problems and opportunities.
- Define and champion the product strategy and roadmap, by establishing clear priorities and arbitrating between user value, business impact, feasibility, and constraints.
- Work closely with Design throughout the design process to challenge and validate proposed solutions and ensure their alignment with user needs and business objectives.
- Build a strong partnership with Engineering, to ensure continuous alignment between product ambitions and technical realities, and to jointly make the necessary trade-offs for the proper design and delivery of the product.
- Create alignment with senior stakeholders, by clearly communicating product choices and trade-offs and ensuring regular visibility on delivery progress and product performance.
- Use AI as a lever for Product Management efficiency, by pragmatically integrating GenAI tools at different stages of the PDLC: insight research and synthesis, exploration, prototyping, requirements formalization, analysis, or documentation.
- Advance our clients' product maturity, by identifying friction points in their practices, governance, or operating model and proposing pragmatic improvements.
Desired skills and experience
- Significant experience in Product Management, with a demonstrated track record in the design and development of complex digital products. Experience in Product Management in a consulting environment is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to be both strategic and hands-on: you know how to define a product vision and interact with executives, but also to get into the details of a discovery, challenge a solution, prioritize a backlog, or contribute to solving a delivery problem when necessary.
- End-to-end mastery of the PDLC, with the ability to coach, manage, or execute, depending on client needs.
- Solid understanding of business challenges and ability to link product decisions to measurable objectives: growth, revenue, cost reduction, customer experience, operational efficiency, or risk mitigation.
- Ability to build an effective partnership with Engineering, with a good understanding of feasibility, architecture, technical debt, dependencies, and delivery issues, without necessarily being an engineer.
- Understanding of the business and regulatory challenges in the financial sector. Experience in a fintech, digital bank, financial institution, or consulting firm is a significant asset.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous, complex, and transforming environments, with a high level of autonomy, ownership, and the ability to create structure where it does not yet exist.
- You are comfortable working in French and English in international environments.
