The Hamburger EVP Group connects and coordinates the competencies & resources of medium-sized Consumer Health Care (CHC) companies with differentiated regional and indicative focuses. The core market of our rapidly growing group is Europe, but we also distribute our products worldwide.
We support customers from trade and industry in the development of their own CHC brands with constantly new, trend-oriented product developments. Our full service covers the entire spectrum of services, from tailor-made ideas to the shelf. With our own, individually positioned brands, we also offer differentiated consumer target groups attractive solutions for their personal health management.
Within the group, we currently supply over 500 items in all regulatory categories (over-the-counter drugs, medical devices, dietary supplements, and cosmetics), covering common indications from colds to beauty and all dosage forms from solid to liquid. We rely on high quality standards and innovative technologies and ingredients.

The Team:

We are looking for you as a

Product Development Manager (m/f/d)

as soon as possible.

These tasks await you:

  • Development of new products in the field of (medical) cosmetics, from idea to market readiness
  • Extensive project management with independent and cross-departmental project execution
  • Specialized support for the existing product range – including by adjusting the formulation, design, or claims
  • Regular contact with contract manufacturers regarding, among other things, formulation, manufacturing, packaging, or similar aspects
  • Adaptation and maintenance of product documentation
  • General implementation of regulatory and legal requirements and monitoring of relevant changes
  • Statements / technical support for internal and external parties
  • Specialized training of new employees
  • Market and competitor observation
  • Interface function to other specialist departments

We are looking for you!

  • Laboratory technical training or completed university degree in a scientific field
  • Several years of experience in the development of material/galenical products, preferably in the cosmetics sector
  • Documentation experience in an ISO-certified company
  • Regulatory knowledge (e.g., GMP, IFS, ISOs, Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009 on cosmetic products)
  • High motivation, hands-on mentality, desire to shape, and goal orientation
  • Analytical, systematic, and solution-oriented thinking and action
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
  • Quick acquisition of new knowledge and its application
  • Teamwork & cooperation skills
  • Confident demeanor and strong communication skills
  • Proficient German and English language skills, both written and spoken
  • MS Office and Excel skills
