Product Developer (m/w/d)

We are a young, growing company from Cologne, developing innovative bike bags that connect everyday life, design, and functionality. Our products solve real problems – and that's what we want to continue driving forward.

To achieve this, we are looking for a Product Developer with prior experience in the bag industry, who will help us create the next innovations for the coming years. We want someone who brings many ideas, shows initiative, and actively drives our product development – a true all-rounder with a clear focus on innovation.

Aufgaben

• **Tech Packs create
  **You create detailed Tech Packs that include all necessary information for production.
• **Sample-Feedback & Comments
  **You critically test samples, provide structured feedback, and formulate clear comments for production.
• **Product briefings develop
  **Together with our designer, you develop initial briefings for new products – so prepared that they can be handed over directly to production.
• **Communication with production
  **You are the point of contact for our producers and ensure a smooth exchange between idea and implementation.
• **Workshops prepare & conduct
  **You help prepare and conduct innovation workshops for product development – with a focus on the next years.

Qualifikation

• **Professional experience in the bag industry
  **You have already worked in the bag industry and know how products come into being from concept to production.
• **Safe handling of Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
  **You can use design tools professionally and assert yourself in the creative process.
• **Experience in collaboration with producers
  **You know the processes in the supply chain and know how to communicate effectively with manufacturers.
• **Initiative & flexibility
  **You work independently, bring your own ideas, and adapt quickly to new situations.
• **Innovation strength & design fundamentals
  **You think beyond the horizon, recognize market opportunities, and can prepare ideas visually and conceptually.
• **CAD knowledge (advantage)
  **Who can create CAD files, brings a real plus point – but it's not a must.
