Product Designer (m/f/d) eCommerce

With the brands Holzprofi24 and Leondo, we operate some of the leading e-commerce platforms for home & garden in Europe. We combine modern web technologies, data-driven online marketing, and high-performance logistics to offer our customers an outstanding shopping experience. Our customers don't buy 20-euro items from us; they often invest several thousand euros in terraces, flooring, or garden sheds – purchases that require extensive consultation, where the customer wants to understand exactly what they are buying. We want customers to find their solution with us faster and more securely than anywhere else. With us, you will work in a dedicated in-house development team with short decision-making processes, without agency structures. We rely heavily on modern AI tools, realize prototypes through Vibecoding in hours instead of weeks, and offer you a lot of freedom for your own ideas, pragmatic experimentation, and flexible working hours. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Product Designer (m/f/d) eCommerce who develops user-centric concepts, translates ideas into prototypes, and significantly shapes our shop experience.

• Analysis of our online shop to identify hurdles in the purchasing process and derive targeted optimizations

• Conception of solutions such as smart product configurators that make decisions easier for customers

• Conducting user interviews and directly gathering customer feedback

• Independent creation of concrete mockups and prototypes that are directly implementable by the development team

• Experimenting and rapid prototyping with modern AI tools in an agile in-house environment

• Follow-up and review of implemented features for their effectiveness in live operation

• Independent implementation of your own ideas with flexible working time arrangement and close coordination with developers

• Strong focus on customer problems rather than just screens, with the aim of understanding why customers abandon their purchases

• Solid practical experience in design (Figma, prototypes, design systems) OR a technical background with an understanding of modern frontend stacks (ideally Nuxt)

• Ability to write specifications in such a way that software developers can work with them without further questions

• Enjoyment of experimentation and the use of modern AI tools (e.g., for rapid prototyping / Vibecoding)

• Independent way of working, drive, and the desire to push through your own ideas
