We, RentoMojo, were founded by IITM alums and serial entrepreneurs who worked out of almost every major city in India in his first five years of corporate career. RentoMojo caters to the needs of the working professionals which is unmet due to nonavailability of furnished rental flats by offering furniture and appliances on rental basis, thus, providing more flexibility than owning the expensive furniture and appliances.

Currently, we have 100,000+ subscribers with a typical rental period of 12-14 months. The current market size (as per a recent report by Grant Thornton) is estimated to be US$ 4.1 Billion and expected to grow to US$ 13 Billion by 2025.

With 700+ people operations, the company has a presence in 16 cities across India. Looking back, Rentomojo has not only made a new market of lease which never existed for the consumer, they have also become market leaders in the consumer rental industry. Unlike the norm, they are now seeing a reverse trend wherein a version of ours is being copied in the US and UK. We are also profitable at monthly PAT since Oct 2021.

Designation: Product Designer Intern

Location: Bangalore

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Product Designer to join our growing design team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for crafting intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centric experiences across Rentomojo’s mobile(android & ios) and web platforms. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to enhance the overall customer journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.

• Conduct user research, competitor analysis, and usability testing to gather insights for product improvements.

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs that align with Rentomojo’s brand identity and business objectives.

• Design seamless, user-friendly experiences across mobile and desktop platforms.

• Work closely with developers to ensure smooth design handoff and execution.

• Iterate designs based on feedback, data insights, and user needs.

• Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve the design process.
