Product Design Lead (all genders)

You understand it, design not just to create, but to lead – strategically, operationally, and always with a view to the greater whole? In this role, you will be responsible for the entire design work within our customer's projects in the area of Streaming/News and will act as the central interface between the creative team, product management, strategy, agile, and customer side. We are looking for a: experienced: and: visionary: Product Design Lead (all genders) for our team in Hamburg, hybrid.

Aufgaben

• You plan and prioritize UX/UI capacities and align resources closely with Head of's, project management, and other teams
• You develop efficient work and term structures in the agile team and lead the team through creation meetings
• You ensure clear communication and foster exchange within the creative department, adjacent disciplines, and cross-product, to share knowledge and best practices
• You establish quality and work standards, ensuring smooth processes and organizing effective on- and offboarding for securing knowledge transfer and continuity
• You present experience concepts and solutions to internal and external stakeholders and work closely with product management and experience strategy together.
• You are responsible for the UX/UI strategy in the product and ensure user-centered design decisions that align with product vision, business goals, and user needs
• You strengthen team spirit, feedback culture, and the development of your team members in collaboration with the Head of's UX and –UI, e.g., through coaching in daily work or review sessions

Qualifikation

• You have experience in design management, UX/UI, or service design with project and customer responsibility
• You bring fundamental knowledge of UX/UI strategy, user-centered design, and the connection between product vision and business goals
• You work independently, proactively, and take ownership, even in customer contact
• You have a broad understanding of all design processes and can also take over operational tasks in the UX/UI area if needed
• You have experience in leading design teams, promoting team culture, and supporting the development of employees
• You are familiar with resource planning and interdisciplinary collaboration
