Product Compliance Manager (m/f/d)

What awaits you?

• Ensuring the technical product compliance for IAM vehicle parts according to applicable legal and technical requirements
• Evaluation and implementation of regulatory requirements at national and international level
• Continuous monitoring of new technical and regulatory developments
  Management and support of homologation, type approval, and conformity assessment procedures
• Close cooperation and cross-departmental collaboration with internal departments such as Product Management, Sales, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, and Legal
• Contact person for external testing institutes, authorities, and certification bodies
  Assessment of technical risks and support in crisis and escalation management
• Ensuring correct warning, safety, and labeling instructions
• Operational implementation of regulatory requirements into existing product and process landscapes
• Contribution to strategic issues concerning product approval and international market requirements

What should you bring with you?

• Completed technical degree, ideally in engineering
• Several years of professional experience in the technical/regulatory environment of the automotive industry or in the IAM vehicle parts sector
• Very high technical product understanding and pronounced business focus
• Experience in the practical implementation of regulatory requirements – not purely theoretical or research-oriented
• Very good knowledge of substance law (esp. REACH, POP etc.) and due diligence law (esp. EUDR etc.)
• Knowledge of labeling requirements based on German and EU legal acts
• Knowledge in the areas of: homologation, type approval, and conformity assessment procedures in Germany and the EU
• High initiative and willingness to continuously familiarize yourself with new technical specifications
• Assertiveness as well as a structured and solution-oriented approach to work
• Initial experience in crisis management is an advantage
• Very good German and English skills
