Procurement Sr Manager (Mining Industry)

Purpose Plan, lead and execute the supply of inputs of direct and indirect materials in order to ensure the continuity of the operations of Business Units; complying with the guidelines established by the organization in terms of safety, ethics, quality & cost. Main Responsibilities Collaborate to define Safety guidelines for suppliers, contractors and services providers and promote their compliance Promote Ethics & compliance culture trough his/her role to the Procurement team as well as the rest of the organization Ensure that all procurement activities are aligned with the company's values and principles, and that they do not compromise the integrity of the business. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors and services providers to ensure a stable supply chain and minimize risks. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with procurement activities, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures. Ensure that all procurement transactions are properly recorded and reported in accordance with accounting standards and company policies. Provide guidance and support to the Procurement team on procurement processes, policies and procedures. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement activities, such as cost savings, quality of goods and services, and supplier compliance. Develop and implement strategies to improve procurement efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall value proposition for the organization. Ensure that all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and integration of procurement activities with business objectives. Provide training and guidance to suppliers, contractors and services providers on organizational policies, procedures and expectations. Develop and maintain a comprehensive supplier management program to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
