Tasks:

• Take over the independent procurement of project-related materials and services from needs analysis to contract negotiation
• Negotiate prices and contracts with national and international suppliers, taking into account costs, quality, and deadlines
• Develop and implement procurement strategies for cost optimization and quality assurance, as well as risk management to avoid shortages
• Create tenders, bid comparisons, and tender recommendations in collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Coordinate with project management for timely and cost-effective delivery of required goods
• Monitor material availability and inventory management throughout the entire project lifecycle

Profile:

• Hold a completed degree in Business Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent education with a focus on technical procurement
• Bring several years of experience in procurement for an international production company, particularly in negotiation and supplier management
• Mastery of ERP systems (SAP MM, preferably SAP/4Hana) and MS Office
• Communicate confidently in German and English, with additional languages (e.g. French) being advantageous
• Show initiative, analytical thinking, and a structured, result-oriented work approach
• Possess communication and team skills as well as the ability to efficiently manage complex requirements in a dynamic project environment
