Procurement Specialist

Job Title: Procurement Specialist Location: Olifantsfontein, South Africa Industry: Food and Beverage Manufacturing RPO Recruitment's client are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to join their team in Olifantsfontein, focusing on the Food and Beverage industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, with extensive knowledge of sourcing and negotiating contracts within the food and beverage sector. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services. Identify and prioritize procurement opportunities that align with business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and manage procurement plans. Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to inform procurement decisions. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Manage and maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, invoices, and payments. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal teams. Provide procurement guidance and support to other departments as needed. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field. At least 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the food and beverage industry. Strong understanding of procurement principles, practices, and regulations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
