Procurement Sourcing Specialist

• Demonstrate full responsibility for assigned customer accounts, as well as assigned commodities, including New Product Introduction (NPI), supplier negotiations, inventory levels, and MRB material disposition, complying with applicable regulations and standards (including, but not limited to, AS9100, ISO 13485, and ISO/TS 16949).

• Negotiate payment terms with suppliers, prices, and Incoterms for electronic components.

• Establish and maintain effective communication with suppliers regarding the organization's quality, delivery, and price requirements.

• Develop and administer Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) schemes with key suppliers.

• Be responsible for supplier analysis and tenders.

• Suggest the incorporation of PPV (Purchase Price Variance) based on product knowledge and experience, on a case-by-case basis.

• Identify and evaluate the percentage increase if necessary, for example, when Incoterms are not DAP (Delivered At Place) or DDP (Delivered Duty Paid).

• Follow the company's strategy, including documents to be used, format, Global Preferred Supplier (GPS) list, systems, etc.

• Negotiate prices with suppliers (especially for cost drivers)

• Provide support for engineering programs from the development phase to production ramp-up, maintaining cost controls for new products.

• Work closely with the rest of the team responsible for electronic parts, as well as follow the (Global/Regional Preferred Supplier) list whenever possible.

• Provide feedback to suppliers on tender progress.

• Search for component alternatives for customers depending on assigned commodities.

• Identify and implement cost reduction strategies.

• Support capacity planning between suppliers and buyers.

•Ensure price benchmarking with different corporate sites and select the best suppliers.

•Attend customer audits and certifications.

•Support the update of all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to purchasing.
