To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Procurement Quality Manager (m/w/d) Aerospace / Aerospace & Defence at our location in Ottobrunn (south of Munich) in an unlimited contract and full-time (40 hours/week) position.

Procurement Quality Manager (m/w/d) Aerospace / Aerospace & Defence

Aufgaben

• Sourcing: Building reliable supplier relationships, as well as their maintenance and implementation of comprehensive supplier evaluations for the release of aircraft components.
• Quality Assurance: Definition and monitoring, as well as the implementation of preventive and corrective measures to ensure the quality level.
• Interface Function: Breaking down quality assurance agreements (QSV) on a supplier level; acting as a link to the internal product management team.
• Inspection & Acceptance: Definition of incoming goods inspections, implementation of component acceptance tests on site including accompaniment of suppliers until delegated product acceptance.
• Process Support: Supporting process experts in managing special processes (focus: metal processing).
• Business Trips: Supplier support directly on-site (travel portion approx. 10-20%).

Qualification

• Educational Background: Successfully completed degree (Bachelor/Master) in the field of Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Professional Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience in quality management and production environment, ideally with reference to metal processing.
• Industry Know-How: Ideally at least 1 year of experience in the aerospace industry (Aerospace & Defence).
• IT Tools: In-depth knowledge of SAP (specifically SAP MM-IM) and a PLM tool (ideally Siemens Team Center) as well as MS Office.
• Languages: Fluent German skills and good English skills; French skills are an asset.
• Soft Skills: Communication strength, team ability, organizational talent, and a high sense of responsibility.
