Procurement/ Purchasing Executive (Logistics, MNC)

Responsibilities: Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures in the logistics industry. Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions. Manage supplier relationships and conduct performance evaluations. Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. Monitor market trends and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal departments. Provide expert advice on procurement best practices and compliance with regulatory requirements. Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Analyze and interpret data to inform procurement decisions. Develop and implement corrective actions to address issues related to procurement performance. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement activities.
