Job description

As Procurement Officer, you will play a key role in the company's procurement strategy. You will be responsible for managing purchasing processes, tenders, contractual negotiations, supplier follow-up, and continuous improvement. You will actively contribute to creating value, innovation, and global performance of the procurement service.

1. Procurement Strategy

  • Identify opportunities for value creation by category
  • Suggest and implement strategies aligned with internal needs
  • Analyze the market to stimulate innovation

2. Management of Processes and Tenders

  • Optimize demand and pilot tenders
  • Coordinate inter-functional teams
  • Manage supplier relationships and contractual aspects

3. Negotiation and Contractual Management

  • Define commercial conditions
  • Negotiate and draft contracts
  • Ensure legal compliance

4. Supplier Relationship Management

  • Develop relationships with internal parties
  • Monitor supplier performance
  • Bring sector expertise

5. Compliance and Reporting

  • Contribute to cost savings targets with monthly follow-up
  • Ensure compliance with approval procedures and validate new suppliers in the ERP system
  • Promote best practices and manage procurement service tools

6. Support to the Department

  • Assist the supervisor in daily management and disputes
  • Update activity follow-ups and archive files
  • Ensure compliance with objectives and manage multiple projects simultaneously

7. Continuous Improvement

  • Pilot initiatives to improve processes at short, medium, and long term
  • Suggest and deploy new practices and tools after validation

Requirements

  • Degree or Master's degree in engineering, commerce, procurement, or supply chain
  • 1-4 years of experience in a similar role
  • You are organized, autonomous, and have a good initiative spirit.
  • You know how to collaborate effectively as a team, communicate clearly, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • You have solid analytical skills, a good understanding of procurement issues, and can demonstrate creativity in proposing innovative solutions.
  • You are comfortable with office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word), master purchasing processes (P2P, RFP), and have knowledge of ERP and electronic tendering tools.
  • You speak fluent French and have a good level of English.
  • Knowledge of legal concepts and sensitivity to sustainability and compliance (CSRD) will be an asset.
