Role Purpose The DGM – Wafer & Ingot Equipment Procurement is responsible for end-to-end strategic sourcing and procurement of high-value capital equipment for solar wafer and ingot manufacturing. The role ensures timely availability of globally sourced equipment at optimal cost, aligned with project timelines, technology roadmap, and long-term manufacturing objectives. Key Responsibilities Strategic Capital Procurement Lead procurement strategy for wafering and ingot manufacturing equipment in line with business requirements, ensuring alignment with company's overall procurement strategy. Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality equipment at competitive prices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize procurement needs, leveraging market intelligence and industry trends to inform sourcing decisions. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements for all procurement activities. Monitor and report on procurement performance metrics, including cost savings, lead times, and supplier performance. Develop and manage budgets for procurement activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on procurement best practices, risk management, and supply chain optimization. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes to ensure procurement strategies remain effective and compliant.
