Procurement Engineer - Operations

Job Summary The Procurement Engineer is responsible for ensuring continuity of material supply, supporting stable production operations, and maintaining strong supplier performance within a manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to manage day-to-day procurement activities, including PR-to-PO execution, delivery follow-up, inventory optimization, and material supply risk mitigation. The incumbent will play a key role in balancing demand and supply chain dynamics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with business objectives; • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with material supply; • Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery terms; • Conducting regular supplier performance evaluations to ensure compliance with contractual agreements; • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements through procurement best practices; • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and inventory levels. The Procurement Engineer will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to procurement and supply chain management. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
