Procurement Engineer – Mechanical/Hardware (Singapore)

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team in Singapore. You will partner with design, R&D, and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality components on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and implement procurement strategies for mechanical and hardware components. * Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring favorable terms. * Manage the procurement process from request to delivery, including order placement, tracking, and expediting. * Collaborate with engineering teams to understand technical specifications and ensure component compatibility. * Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify cost-saving opportunities. * Monitor supplier performance and address any quality or delivery issues. * Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities. * Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. * Proven experience in procurement, preferably within the mechanical or hardware industry. * Strong negotiation and communication skills. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Excellent organizational and project management skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. * Knowledge of supply chain management principles. * Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
