Process & Maintenance Technician

1.- Performs preventive-corrective actions, activates equipment, conducts checklists, maintenance standards, and records in different systems.

2.- Diagnoses, contains, and corrects failures.

3.- Interprets electrical and pneumatic diagrams to solve failures.

4.- Knows and meets maintenance KPI's (TTA, MTTR, MTBF).

5.- Manages spare parts for failure resolution

6.- Knows and monitors production goals, bottlenecks, and cycle times (OEE) to take actions that lead to meeting the goals.

7.- Performs model changes and sets up production lines.

8. Performs autonomous maintenance and set-ups on production lines

9. Trains operators in autonomous maintenance

10. Defines and trains operators on activities performed in autonomous maintenance

11. Defines and trains operators on daily failures to resolve

12.Generates a resolution of equipment failure worksheet for the operator

13. Releases LUPS realized in Autonomous Maintenance

14. Closes red anomaly cards 15. Supports the operator in implementing Kaizen when applicable.

16. Knows and applies quality criteria in production lines (Pokayokes, IPC).

17. Knows product specifications to perform necessary activities at process startup on a serial production line (visual aids, parameter sheet, checklists)

18. Participates in solving failure and defect problems using continuous improvement methodologies.

19. Generates ideas for process improvements (kaizen).

20. Supports operations of the production line.
