Process Engineer

Job description

Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on and result-driven Process Engineer to support daily manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple production lines. This role will take ownership of process stability, yield improvement, and cross-functional coordination, acting as a key technical and operational bridge between Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate is not only technically strong, but also proactive, communicative and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste and improve product quality. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues, and implementing corrective actions. • Conducting root cause analyses and developing corrective actions for equipment failures or process deviations. • Providing technical support to production staff on process-related matters. • Maintaining accurate records of process changes, improvements and deviations. • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of new processes and procedures. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field. • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on process engineering. • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. • Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software and experience with data analysis tools is an asset.
