Process Engineer

RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our client in Cape Town, Observatory. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to optimize and enhance manufacturing and industrial processes. • Analyze existing manufacturing and production processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Develop new techniques and modify existing designs to improve operational performance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate workflows and identify bottlenecks.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
• Conduct process audits and develop standard operating procedures to ensure consistency.
• Oversee and coordinate process improvement projects from inception to completion.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Process Engineering (or related field).
• Proven experience in manufacturing, production, or process engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization methodologies.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work across teams.
• Ability to thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced production environment.
• Willingness to work onsite at the manufacturing facility in Observatory, Cape Town.
