Activities

➢ Responsible for ensuring the correct industrialization of new products from the quotation stage, APQP process development, product and process until implementation and release through the PPAP process for production start-up.
➢ Responsible for ensuring the correct implementation of engineering changes (product and process) in existing products.
➢ Manage and improve the quote system, APQP/PPAP system, and AMEF/Control Plan system.
➢ Optimize processes and products to generate a better OEE and COS.
➢ Implement innovation for continuous improvement through project/initiative/strategy/8D's focused on improving safety, quality, and productivity.
➢ Standardize processes to improve quality, availability, and productivity.
➢ Design and improve measurement equipment, tools, and control devices (Pokayoke).
➢ Prepare procedures, instruction sheets, and record formats within the integral operations system to meet quality manual requirements, internal policies, and corporate policies, as well as IATF16949 standard.
➢ Responsible for defining, improving, and managing material specifications, product specifications, and process specifications.
➢ Is responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction and their requirements through:
▪ Receiving customer requests (EDI).
▪ Maintaining permanent contact via telephone, email with customers.
▪ Keeping customers and/or sales representatives informed about order status, as well as providing information on quotations, estimates, prices, and extraordinary information requests.
▪ Analyzing and informing the Materials and Customer Service department about changes, increases, decreases, or cancellations of customer orders to adjust production and material purchase programs.
▪ Receiving plans and/or requirements from customers or US, Europe, Mexico offices for quotations.
▪ Receiving rejection notifications from customers and alerting the plant.
▪ Maintaining maximum ratings for each assigned customer.
➢ Keep the workplace clean and organized.
