Process Automation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Python Process Automation Engineer to join our team in Zaventem. In this role, you will not only maintain existing Python-based RPA scripts for Tax processes but also expand our automation platform. This includes developing and maintaining the RPA engine that schedules and executes tasks, as well as building dashboards (React-based) to monitor automated processes. You will work across the full stack of our automation landscape — from scripting and containerization to database integration and dashboard development. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain Python-based RPA scripts. * Design, develop, and maintain the RPA engine. * Develop and maintain React-based dashboards for process monitoring. * Integrate automation solutions with databases. * Ensure the stability and performance of automated processes. * Collaborate with the Tax team to identify and automate new processes. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues in automated workflows. * Document automation processes and solutions. * Participate in code reviews. **Required Skills and Experience:** * Proven experience in Python development. * Experience with RPA tools and frameworks (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere). * Experience with React and front-end development. * Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL). * Experience with containerization (Docker). * Experience with REST APIs. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Fluent in English. * Experience in the Tax domain is a plus. * Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus. **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary. * Meal vouchers. * Hospitalization insurance. * Group insurance. * Laptop and other necessary tools. * Opportunities for professional development. * A dynamic and collaborative work environment.
