Your job in a nutshell
As a process operator, you will control and manage the production process in one of our chemical plants, ensuring that the output is achieved efficiently within the set standards for quality, quantity, environment, and safety.

Due to the complexity of the factory, we have an internal training program (during working hours) to teach you the factory at your own pace. You will naturally receive support from your Shift Team Leader, mentor, our practical instructors, and of course your colleagues. Together, we will do everything we can to make you feel at home quickly. You will work in a 5-shift system, your location is Delfzijl.

In addition:

• You will independently resolve process disruptions;
• You will perform disruption analyses, process controls, trend monitoring, and product analysis;
• You will carry out logistical activities concerning raw materials, auxiliary materials, and finished products;
• You will provide written reports regarding shift handover, disruptions, and projects;
• You will participate in project working groups in the areas of safety, environment, quality, and efficiency.

The company, the location, and the department
We are Teijin Aramid, the world's number one aramid producer. A company with customers in 74 countries, which has helped break records, send spacecraft to Mars, and achieve progress in Formula 1. Our products can be found worldwide in many different applications and markets such as automotive, ballistic protection, marine, wind energy, civil engineering, protective clothing, and optical cables.

Approximately 275 people work at our location in Delfzijl. At this location, the para-aramid polymer, which forms the basis of the high-quality aramid fiber Twaron, is manufactured in four chemical plants through multiple complex process steps.

Your profile
For this position, you need a completed education as Operator B, MTS process technology, or AOT (level 4), and an affinity with the chemical industry.
