In this beautiful family business, currently led by the 7th generation, the focus on innovation and safety is paramount. At the production location of this vacancy, dry chemical solutions are made that are used in the fashion, automotive, and furniture industries for the production of fabrics.

Upon arrival at the site, the imposing tall building immediately stands out. As soon as you enter, the enormous drying installation is unmissable. This structure is no less than 25 meters high, and here the liquid substance is processed with great precision: the water evaporates, and the remaining powder forms the semi-finished product.

The role
This is what you will do

As a Process Operator, you work in a very compact team, with a total of 3 people, and together you ensure that the entire factory keeps running. The role is very dynamic; you will be involved in:

• loading and unloading tank trucks
• processing raw materials in mixing tanks where chemical reactions are generated
• filling and packaging powders using a bagging machine
• monitoring processes using DCS/PLC control systems
• ensuring safety for yourself and your colleagues. After all, you work with hazardous substances
• aligning planning and efficiency well so that products can be shipped to the customer on time

You are actively engaged; you regularly have to go up and down stairs to monitor the processes properly. Due to the different tasks, it is important that you communicate well with your colleagues via the walkie-talkie you carry with you.

What we expect from you
Do you recognize yourself?

As a Process Operator, you are expected to:

• be in possession of a Vapro-B (or an MBO4 Operational Technician) diploma; if you don't have this but are interested, please let me know!
  
• enjoy working in a compact team
• have experience in a comparable role in chemistry or food
• master the Dutch language perfectly in word and writing
• live within a radius of a maximum of 35 km from Amersfoort
• be willing to work in a 5-shift system
