Process Operator | 2 Shifts

Job Description

From the Beringen facility, all kinds of waste glass are collected and recycled into new raw materials.
This recycling process is highly automated and involves heavy industrial machinery as well as fine technology.
The high-quality raw materials produced are then delivered to customers in the glass industry or manufacturers of insulation material.
As a process operator, you are responsible for the proper functioning of the plant used for sorting, processing, and recycling glass waste.
You monitor the entire production process and intervene when malfunctions or deviations occur. You contribute to the safe, efficient, and high-quality processing of recycled glass.

Tasks:
Starting up, operating, and shutting down production lines.
Monitoring and following up on the entire recycling process.
Monitoring process parameters via screens and control systems.
Performing quality checks on recycled glass streams.
Setting up and adjusting installations to ensure optimal operation.
Identifying and resolving minor malfunctions.
Performing first-line maintenance on machines and installations.
Reporting technical defects to the maintenance department.
Cleaning installations and work areas.
Adhering to safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
Correct use of personal protective equipment.
Recording production data and deviations.
Actively contributing to order and cleanliness on the shop floor.

Profile
As a process operator, you are ultimately responsible for the production process.
In this role, you manage the recycling streams by quantity and coordinate the production department.

You resolve first-line malfunctions yourself and communicate with colleagues from other shifts. This gives you a good insight into our production lines and allows you to initiate optimizations.

We ask:
Technical insight and interest in production installations.
Basic knowledge of mechanics and/or electricity.
Experience as a process operator or machine operator is a plus.
Ability to work with computer-controlled installations.
