Job Summary and Qualifications The nurse is an integral part of the Imaging/Radiology Team. The major goal of the Radiology nurse is to provide exceptional quality nursing care to outpatients in the Radiology Department. The RN provides care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures. Responsibilities: * Provide patient care in accordance with established standards and policies. * Assess patient condition and needs, and develop a plan of care. * Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician. * Monitor patients and document observations in the medical record. * Assist physicians with procedures. * Educate patients and families about their condition and treatment. * Maintain a safe and clean environment. * Participate in continuing education. Qualifications: * Current RN license in the state of South Carolina. * Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. * BLS and ACLS certification. * Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
