Private Equity "Intern to Analyst" Program (m/f/d) - Entry Perspective in PE

Location: Starting in Hamburg · subsequently at a portfolio company in the DACH region

Our entrepreneurial "Intern to Analyst" Program offers an entry into Private Equity via the operational side, structured in three phases with the clear goal of permanent employment. We are looking for entrepreneurial personalities at the end of their Master's studies: You will start at CAPCELLENCE in the investment team in Hamburg, then operationally in one of our portfolio companies, and subsequently permanently in the portfolio company if you convince. Permanent employment is the clear goal. Starting is generally possible at the beginning of each quarter from Q1 2027.

Responsibilities

• Phase A: 3 months internship Hamburg (Intern Private Equity): You will work as a full team member on real deals (Due Diligence, Financial Modeling, Market and Company Analyses). In addition, very active involvement in portfolio management and value enhancement projects. Market-standard internship salary.
• Phase B: 3 months internship Portfolio (Intern Portfolio Analyst): You will go operationally into one of our platform companies, for example AUTOLIFT or NARR, and work directly with the C-level. In coordination with the management and the investment team, you will accompany diverse change projects within the company. Market-standard internship salary.
• Phase C: Permanent employment Portfolio (Private Equity Portfolio Analyst): With good performance, you will become the interface between the investment team and the portfolio management, permanently employed in the portfolio company. You will actively create value in the company and independently lead change projects, from sales to purchasing, production, or finance, as part of the management team. You will also actively support the acquisition and integration phase of acquisitions. Market-standard starting salary and participation via exit bonus upon sale.

Qualifications

You are nearing the completion of your Master's degree and have already gained experience in consulting and/or on the PE or investment side. We expect this experience. Above all, however, we are looking for entrepreneurial personalities with strong business acumen: individuals who quickly grasp interrelationships, think economically, can manage projects, and initiate things themselves. In addition, fluent German and English language skills, very good Excel, and the willingness to work flexibly at the location of a portfolio company in the DACH region from Phase 2 onwards.

• Investment Criteria: Revenue over €15 million and EBITDA of €1 to €5 million, majority stakes, primary deal situations (succession and carve-outs), headquarters in the DACH region. We also actively acquire for our platforms.
• Locations: Your potential deployment locations include the NARR Group (customized cold rooms – 1 hour from Stuttgart) and the AUTOLIFT Group (lifting systems for rail vehicles – Salzburg). The deployment location will be agreed upon in advance.
