New opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm based in the heart of the Lake District.

The firm is proud of its long-standing reputation for providing trusted, professional legal services with a personal touch. As part of its continued growth, it is looking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Private Client Solicitor to join its Kendal office.

The Role:

• Private Client Solicitor to manage a diverse caseload covering all aspects of private client work, including probate matters, will drafting, estate administration, tax planning and powers of attorney
• Advise on a broad range of trust issues, including lifetime trusts, will trusts and trusts for elderly or vulnerable clients, with a focus on drafting, administration and associated tax considerations
• Private Client Solicitor to work with clients, their families, carers and relevant third parties such as medical professionals, financial advisers and case managers
• Provided high-quality, empathetic client care, foster strong relationships with existing clients and contributing to the growth of the department through new client engagement

What we are looking for:

• 1 + years PQE Private Client Solicitor or demonstrable experience in private client work
• Strong client care and communication skills
• Able to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision
• STEP qualification (or working towards) would be an advantage, but is not essential
