Privacy Counsel

You will provide legal and privacy guidance to Sony's global Data Transformation (DX) teams and lead initiatives to ensure compliance with global privacy regulations, especially in emerging technologies and cross-group data projects. Key Responsibilities Drive compliance with global privacy frameworks and program requirements (data sharing, marketing, unified IDs, etc.). Collaborate with Sony legal teams worldwide and outside counsel on regulatory requirements, filings, and interactions with data controllers. Ensure that all DX initiatives align with Sony's overall privacy strategy and are compliant with relevant laws and regulations. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Provide training and guidance to DX teams on privacy best practices and compliance requirements. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory developments in the field of data protection and privacy.
