Role: Prison Security Escort Location: HMP Lewes Standard Rate: £12.21 per hour 33 days holiday pay Overtime rate: £16.24ph (overtime after 37.5 hours) Duration: Temporary role, with the opportunity to be long term Typical hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 As a Prison Security Escort, you will work alongside the prison service, assisting our client who is responsible for the maintenance of the buildings. You will be a part of security team where you will escort and oversee contractors such as electricians, plumbers, and builders, ensuring that they are aware of and comply with the prison's rules and regulations. This role requires a high level of physical fitness, as you may need to move quickly in response to changing situations. You must also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing your time efficiently.
