Principal Venture Strategy & Operations (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• You optimize and standardize Ops processes along the supply chain with a focus on logistics, material planning, purchasing, and warehousing.

• You identify inefficiencies, conduct root-cause analyses, and implement measurable improvements (e.g., lead times, inventory levels, delivery performance, missing parts).

• You build analyses, dashboards, and reporting for operational control (E2E transparency, bottlenecks, SLA and ticket tracking).

• You define and manage central KPIs (e.g., OTIF, Inventory Accuracy, Stock Turns, Backlog, Ticket Aging) including interpretation and deriving action plans.

• You drive end-to-end projects: scope/business case, prioritization, implementation, rollout, adoption, and sustainable anchoring (SOPs, trainings).

• You manage stakeholders cross-functionally in Operations as well as at the interfaces with Product (incl. Leads Product) and Tech (data, automation, tooling).

• You deliver clear recommendations and updates in direct reporting to the Managing Directors (reviews, decisions, action tracking).

Your Profile

• 3-4 years of relevant professional experience in Operations / Supply Chain, process optimization, analytics, or a comparable, data-driven environment.

• Background from high-performance environments (start-up/scale-up, management consulting, PE/VC, Venture Building) is a strong plus.

• You combine Analytical Excellence with Ownership: you work in a structured, decision-oriented manner and consistently drive topics to completion.

• You are strong in stakeholder management (alignment, decision-making, conflict resolution, clear communication).

• You have experience in KPI setup and reporting/dashboards (e.g., data aggregation in Snowflake/AirTable + data visualization in Tableau/PowerBI).

• You can cleanly translate requirements between Ops, Product, and Tech.

• Fluent German and English.
