Principal Systems Architect (m/f/d) Defence & Security

Our client is an internationally active technology company in the Defence and Security environment. The company develops complex, software-based systems for security-critical applications. For the technological further development of modern, distributed system architectures, we are looking for an experienced Principal Technology Manager (m/f/d).

Tasks

• Development of modern, distributed, and containerized system architectures
  Conception and evaluation of virtualized and networked systems
• Evaluation of suitable cloud and orchestration platforms for security-critical applications
• Monitoring of technological developments around Cloud Native, Edge Computing, and Software Defined Defence
  Collaboration with customers, industry partners, and public institutions
• Technological consulting in workshops and customer projects
• Derivation of new technological requirements together with internal teams and external partners

Qualification

• Studies in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Technical Computer Science, or comparable qualification
  Profound experience with complex system architectures in the Defence, Security, or comparable technology environment
• Knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes
  Understanding of distributed, resilient, and software-defined systems
• Ability to communicate complex technical contexts understandably to customers and stakeholders
• Very good German and English language skills
• Willingness for occasional business trips
