As a Principal Physical Design Engineer at EnCharge AI, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing our next-generation physical design solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the successful integration of these cutting-edge technologies into real-world applications. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize physical design solutions for EnCharge AI’s advanced AI hardware and software systems. • Utilize industry-standard tools and methodologies to create high-quality, manufacturable designs that meet the needs of our customers. • Work closely with software engineers to ensure seamless integration of physical design solutions into software frameworks. • Develop and maintain expertise in emerging technologies and trends relevant to EnCharge AI’s product lines. • Participate in design reviews and contribute to the development of design specifications, test plans, and verification procedures. • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure successful production ramp-up and volume manufacturing. Requirements: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. • 8+ years of experience in physical design engineering, preferably in the fields of AI, machine learning, or high-performance computing. • Strong understanding of digital and analog circuit design principles, including logic synthesis, place-and-route, and timing closure. • Experience with industry-standard tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys Design Compiler, or Mentor Graphics QuestaSim. • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Tcl. • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
