As a Principal Physical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing cutting-edge physical design for EnCharge’s next-generation in-memory computing technology. This includes but is not limited to: • Developing and maintaining high-level physical design specifications and requirements. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and integrate new features and technologies into the product roadmap. • Designing, developing, and testing innovative hardware and software solutions that can efficiently process large amounts of data. • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers. • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in AI, machine learning, and computer architecture. • Participating in design reviews and providing input on the overall design direction. • Developing and maintaining documentation of designs, testing procedures, and results. • Collaborating with manufacturing teams to ensure successful production and deployment of products. • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for complex issues related to physical design. • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and improve product quality. Requirements: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. • 8+ years of experience in physical design for FPGAs, ASICs, or SoCs. • Strong understanding of digital logic, computer architecture, and microprocessor design. • Experience with design languages such as Verilog or VHDL. • Familiarity with EDA tools such as Synopsys, Cadence, or Mentor Graphics. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
