We are looking for a Principal of New Ventures, India to join our team. As a Principal, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating new venture opportunities, building relationships with founders, and providing strategic guidance to help them achieve their goals. You will also be responsible for managing the India portfolio, including portfolio company performance, fundraising, and exit strategies. Key responsibilities: • Identify and evaluate new venture opportunities in the Indian healthcare market • Build relationships with founders and provide strategic guidance to help them achieve their goals • Manage the India portfolio, including portfolio company performance, fundraising, and exit strategies • Collaborate with the global Redesign Health team to identify and pursue new opportunities • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and industry experts • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to inform investment decisions. Requirements: • 8+ years of experience in venture capital, private equity, or entrepreneurship • Strong network and relationships in the Indian healthcare industry • Proven track record of success in identifying and evaluating new venture opportunities • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
