Principal Manufacturing Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Design Phase: Responsible to design production layouts and processes with the purpose of increasing productivity, eliminating wastefulness, reducing costs, and ensuring quality standards are maintained. Responsible to identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing strategies that align with business objectives. Develop and maintain detailed design specifications, layouts, and procedures for production processes. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Analyze data and metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement. Responsible to lead and mentor junior engineers in the design phase. Manufacturing Phase: Responsible to oversee the implementation of designed manufacturing processes, ensuring quality standards are maintained and productivity is increased. Collaborate with production teams to resolve issues and optimize processes. Develop and implement corrective actions to address deviations from standard operating procedures. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Analyze data and metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement. Responsible to lead and mentor junior engineers in the manufacturing phase.
