Principal ICT Security Operations Specialist (m/f/d)

Your tasks

You act as the central point of contact for all 1st-line information security topics and are significantly responsible for increasing the security and resilience of our ICT systems. Your tasks include:

• You manage anomaly detection in cooperation with an external Security Operations Center (SOC), analyze and evaluate incidents, coordinate Cyber Incident Response, and manage the remediation of vulnerabilities (patch management).
• You are responsible for the management and operational control of our security tools (SIEM, EDR, DLP, VPN/SASE/CASB) as well as the control of security-relevant configurations (e.g., end devices, firewalls, networks).
• You independently manage our Digital Operational Resilience Testing Program, including the coordination of PenTests and security audits.
• You participate in the development and further improvement of security measures based on the current threat landscape (Threat Modelling / Threat Intelligence) and regulatory requirements.
• You support our CISO in creating training and awareness programs and assist project and change management in the introduction and further development of ICT systems and applications.

Your profile

• You have completed a degree or vocational training in the ICT field and have more than 5 years of professional experience in cyber security, ideally in a regulated market, perhaps even from the blockchain/DLT environment or the banking/fintech sector.
• You have in-depth knowledge and practical experience with security tooling (SIEM, EDR, DLP, VPN/SASE) as well as with security in the AWS cloud environment and SaaS applications.
• You have already successfully collaborated with an external Security Operations Center (SOC).
• You combine strategic foresight with a strong hands-on mentality – you not only enjoy planning but also actively implement your concepts in daily operations.
• In addition to your highly structured and independent way of working, you convince with your strong communication skills: You manage to explain complex contexts clearly and understandably even to colleagues outside your field.
• You have fluent English and good German language skills.
