Principal Engineer – Signatures (Non-Acoustic)

Job Title: Principal Signatures Engineer (Non-Acoustics) Location: Barrow-in-Furness (Onsite). Salary: circa £50,000 depending on skills and experience What you’ll be doing Lead the development of the Stealth Engineering Above Water Signatures capability Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design low-signature equipment and systems Helping define technical requirements and specifications for signature reduction technologies Developing and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects Identifying and mitigating risks associated with the development of stealthy signatures Providing expert-level guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and scientists What we’re looking for A degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, physics) or equivalent experience 10+ years of experience in a related field Strong understanding of signature reduction technologies and their applications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new tools and software as needed
