Job Title: Principal Engineer – Communications Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this role Salary: Competitive What you’ll be doing: Leading the design and delivery of communications and audio systems for naval vessels, including defining system requirements and design standards to develop effective technical solutions Developing comprehensive technical documentation, including specification sheets, user guides, and maintenance manuals. This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and project management. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations. What we’re looking for: A highly skilled and experienced engineer with a strong background in communications and audio systems. You should have experience of designing and delivering complex technical solutions, as well as developing comprehensive technical documentation. You will need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
